F21's Shibuya Mon Amour Line is Now Available Online

Shibuya Mon Amour for Forever 21

Forever 21's new Shibuya Mon Amour line is now available online, and consists of cotton tees and tanks featuring artsy line drawings of animals. The description on the site says, "Inspired by the cool kids of Tokyo and Paris, Shibuya Mon Amour is girly, street, punk and fashion. Live it, love it, Shibuya Mon Amour." Gotta love those copywriters! At any rate, the tees are adorable and edgy, but I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe there is no big deal? Anywho I like the long lengths on these, just hope the fabric's thicker/better quality to warrant the prices, which range from $13.80 to $17.80. Thanks to reader Alison for the tip!

these are cute, but i'd want less obvious graphics that weren't so bold and more vague. i'll definitely be checking out the line though.

They're OK, nothing great though. I do like the owl one on the right.

Thanks so much for sharing these!! I'm going to use them for a different reason - as a tall pregnant gal (yes, pregnant!!) finding long shirts is always a HUGE hassle. And graphic tees for preggos - they are actually this length, but you can't find them anywhere for under $20, and usually $40. I'm totally snagging some of these to feel hip :-)

I ventured into my new local F21 a few days ago. I've seen some truly adorable pieces featured on your blog, so, naturally, I wanted to check it out ... How DO you wade through all the JUNK? It was terrifying! Teeny boppers everywhere. Colors and textures clashing. Trashy moms who haven't looked anywhere near young since 10+ years ago. It made me never want to go in there again! What's your secret?

I liked the one with the deer on it in the model photo, but they don't even have that one for sale...I hate that.

They're cute, but that's about all they do for me. In trying to break away from the jeans and t-shirt routine, I'm finding it very frustrating that all these cheesy t-shirt lines keep coming out. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep wading through, and leave these tees to the 12 year olds. :-) Although I will say, the owl is pretty adorable.

I was seriously expecting better, but maybe there is more in store.

All those looks are overdone already, they're a big bore to see.

COME ON PEOPLE!

Agree...don't see the big deal. I like the idea but it doesn't seem very unique and original once everyone wears it and it's totally apparent where you bought your shirt!

I totally agree -- don't get what the big deal is! Was totally expecting more than just some t-shirts! Did you see this on my blog? Wasn't sure if it was me or not, but I am always looking forward to talking to fellow fashion bloggers! I really love your blog!
