Katie Holmes seems to be looking ahead to spring. The actress dusted her eyelids in a pale lavender eyeshadow for last week’s U.K. premiere of Valkyrie. I really don't enjoy purples OR blues as eyecolors....

It's awfully hard to pull it off.

Elf eyeshadow is crappy though! Don't wear it if you have contacts and value your gift of vision!

She would have been better off not applying it up to her eyebrows since it doesn't do much for her skintone.

It doesn't really look amazing on her, but it is a change from her usual plain face so that's good.

It tends the bring out redness (purple) but it does look fab on brown eyes. Actually I asked my hairdresser/makeup artist the other day about what I could do to look "younger" with my makeup (feeling old at 27 haha) and she suggested a punch of lavendar might brighten things up!

I like this shade, but I think it would be more flattering if it weren't covering the entire lid - maybe just the lower portion of the lid.

meh, its alright, it is not expected for the winter season, and looks a little pre-teen.
