We have a winner! Congratulations to #7 Alice, who writes "The best gift is something that is sentimental. It's got to be more than the 'gift' itself; it doesn't have to be expensive or trendy. It just has to mean something. And, what's wrong with giving yourself a gift?! I'm getting myself a tattoo this year!" Thanks to Christina Lee at Tags-n-Stones for making this contest possible, and to everyone who entered—keep checking back for more great giveaways!
Please note: This contest has ended.
Initial necklaces are meaningful and chic in their delicate simplicity, which is why I am super excited about today's giveaway: Courtesy of Tags-n-Stones by Christina Lee, one lucky Budget Babe reader will win one gold-filled initial tag (or sterling silver, if you're a silver kind of girl) and stone (you can pick any color you want!), and have it hammered or not. Who else gives you so many fabulous choices?

hmm the best gift is definitely something that is made or given from generation to another...
last year on valentine's day my boyfriend gave me his grandmother's engagement ring.. now thats something from the heart!
i think the best valentines gift is an experience- dinner, a concert, a trip of some kind. eventually everything is going to fade away but you'll have those memories for a lifetime!
The best valentine's day gift is time alone with your special person, giving them & receiving their undivided attention!
The best V-day present is to have dinner made (with the mess in the kitchen cleaned up)when I come home from work and maybe a nice bubble bath. It doesn't have to cost anything just to be from the heart.
A perfect V-Day gift would be a handwritten letter. In this age of email, that would be a lovely surprise.
My favorite Valentine present is just the two of us cuddling after the kids go to bed presents are nice but its the bond and love that you share that is more important then gifts
The perfect Valentine present for me is a night out with hubby.

I think the best gift is something you mentioned a while ago and thought the person didn't notice but then s/he surprises you with that thing!
I love the jewelery. Thanks for sharing! I am also a huge fan of lockets. They have a past and are each unique in their own way.
My fingers are crossed!
I mean who doesnt love getting gifts
but better than that...is the time you spend with the person you love...
i will be enjoying dinner with my husband....my true love and soulmate
The best Valentine's gift are of course being with the one you love! Some of the best gifts are the little, unexpected things that your significant other remembers! Like a favorite old movie or a favorite song. So Romantic!

The perfect Valentines day is spending quality time together doing the things you like whether its staying in, going to dinner, a movie, art exhibit, a concert, or just going for a stroll. Factor in some delish food and you are set!
the large tag hammered bracelets are adorable and look like they could be passed down generations and be very special!
But besides material gifts, I think the best valentine's day present would be a relaxing night at home with a home cooked meal and 2 bottles of wine!
spending alone time with my wife is the best valentines gift
The best Valentine's Day gift for me is to just have quality alone with my boyfriend and have a romantic dinner together!
The best valentine's gift always includes doing something extra special so the other person knows they mean so much!

Ok, I think the best gift is one that is thoughtful. It doesn't always have to cost money either. While, it could be a gorgeous bag you're gal has been coveting, it could also be taking her somewhere that has sentimental value and will make her feel special.
I like the open circle necklace.
For me, the best Valentines gift is knowing that my children are happy. Simple really!
Thanks

But, honestly? My favorite Valentine gift is a handwritten love letter from my sweetie. I have planned a surprise romantic getaway for us this year.
