Fierce or Tranny: Alice + Olivia for Payless Pierce Sling Wedge

It would take a very bold woman (or man, for that matter) to rock these pink and black leopard print wedges by alice + olivia for Payless. Alas, this is one designer collaboration that never fails to disappoint me. But what about you, think the "Pierce" Sling Wedge is fierce or tranny?

Shop it: alice + olivia for Payless Pierce Sling Wedge, Payless.com, $38

Somewhere between tranny and 13 year old girl, to me. ;-) Little too loud for my feet, but I'm sure with a healthy dose of confidence and the right outfit they could rock.

I actually just bought these over the weekend but in ALL BLACK...little bit more practical for me! :-) anyways, they are surprisingly super cumfy, they fit really well, and they complement many outfits very nicely. plus they're alice and olivia for $38! I highly recommend :-)

I could never pull those off.

I like them! I could see them with black skinnies, a pink cardi, maybe some sort of cinched waist. and of course dramatic hair. great for a nite out!

I agree with some of the posts, with the right outfit and the right person it could work. The all black sounds really cute actually!

a little too much I think! maybe with long black trousers or jeans that cover most of the heel with just a little peeping out!

i'm usually a fan of their collaborations as well, but i just can't imagine what i would wear with these bad boys.

Tranny? Hon I can't think of one self-respecting Queen who would be caught dead.

Maybe if they were made of a suede material and didn't look like something circa Spice Girls era (pink open toed leopard print platforms, really?)...

I have to agree.Alice & Olivia for Payless hasn't been doing too much for me.

eek! oh my! - my first reaction.
but on 2nd consideration, maybe with the perfect LBD or over some black skinny jeans? eek. I don't know - i think I would steer away because of the high probability they would look terrible!

Wow, lots of hate for these shoes. Personally, I LOVE 'em. Just pair them with lots of black and you're fierce all over.

Well, personally I dont't like them and wouldn't wear them. But maybe, with the right outfit they would look nice. SWY

I think they have the potential to look fly!!! and they would look better in suede? EEW! are you kidding? that would just be wrong....

These give me bad, bad flashbacks from the 80's, right up there with my fuschia stirrup pants in 6th grade.

Does nobody watch Tim Gunn??? The designer shouldn't matter, it's all about quality and style. There is nothing unique about those shoes, they look like a million cheap shoes already on the market... there's no way those things are quality... It doesn't have to be expensive to be well made. You could get animal print shoes just as cute, in WAY better materials, at the nine west outlet stores
