Adam for MANGO Collection Now Available at Mangoshop


The new limited edition Adam Lippes for Mango collection is now available online. I've been a distant admirer of Lippes since he hit the fashion scene (ie., I like the look but don't own anything), so I was looking forward to this collab with Mango. Many of the pieces in this diffusion line are adorable, especially the dresses, but the prices are not cheap: A linen/cotton blend ivory skirt will cost you $79.90 while a purple trench will set you back $219.90. Guess I'll be stalking the sale section in a couple weeks. P.S. Does anyone else think Mango's website is a royal pain in the you-know-what to use? Wish they'd make it easier to browse, link to products, copy images. It's not blogger friendly at all. Anywho, get more details about the collection after the jump.

From MangoShop.com: "For women, with the label ADAM for MANGO, Lippes presents a very urban collection that combines elements for the daytime and for special occasions with a nod to the '70s and the Halston look.

Flowing dresses with prints and an irregular hand-made finish, degrade stripes with sequins and wrap-around sack shapes.

There are two color palettes: one with bone and blueberry with yellow tones and another with grays and blue accents."

I freakin' LOVE Mango. But the only store here is in the international terminal of the airport.

Otherwise I have to go to Europe (where I first fell in love with Mango and went a little crazy) or order online and the latter is a pain in the butt. I ordered a raincoat and bag and they held it at customs for WEEKS and then I had to arrange a seperate delivery to me. Sorry - rant over. Tempted to order again one day :-)

They do have some really cute pieces, but a little more than I want to spend right now. And, yes, their site is a pain to navigate.
