Four One-Shoulder Ruffle Dresses: Would You Wear One?

The lovely Mischa Barton looks sweet and sexy in a one-shouldered purple satin frock with a decadent ruffle detail along the neckline. You could pair it with ankle booties a la Barton for a night of party hopping, or wear it with strappy heels for a more formal affair. I love this look, but then again I'm partial to ruffles and anything "one-shoulder" (something about the cut seems to flatter my shoulders). Would you wear this look?

LOVE it! Too bad I cannot find a one shoulder that looks good on me. It's almost as bad as finding a good strapless dress.

I love the color of the ABS on the blond model, but sadly, I have to agree with Angela. This cut either makes you look amazing or is difficult to pull off. And, admittedly, that's a whole lot of ruffle for my personal taste.

In a sea of budget style blogs your has become my hands-down favorite. Keep up the solid, useful and (omg) SENSIBLE style reporting!

I have always disliked the one shoulder thing... sometimes I see someone wearing a one shoulder thing that works. but by and large, it just looks asymmetrical to me.

I'm dying to try this style! I'd love to see how it looks on me. If it's a go, then I'd definitely get a top or dress in this style.

I would totally do this trend! One-shoulder tops are great for looking subtly sexy, and with that extra little ruffle this look is even better! I'd go with a more subtle ruffle like Mischa's - anything too ruffly and you'll just look a bit dated.

I wish I could pull this off...but my shoulders are kinda bony and not something I like to highlight. BUT...if I were like you, I would totally pick the black one since it is simple and doesn't look as "juniors section" as some of the others.

I love one-shouldered dresses and ruffles too! The bright color of dress #1 makes it my fave - plus I love that it has a cute little sleeve - but I probably wouldn't wear it unless the hemline was a bit longer! Tight + short hemline makes for an uncomfortable day.
