Lauren Conrad has signed with Kohl's to launch the LC Lauren Conrad Collection, due in 300 Kohl's stores this October. The line will include a women's contemporary collection, footwear, jewelry, handbags, intimates and sleepwear priced from $20 to $60.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but my initial reaction was yay! I guess I actually like LC's personal style and we budget shoppers could definitely use some affordable clothing options inspired by sunny California at Kohl's. Is that such a bad thing?
On a sidenote, many of you thought Kohl's would be the perfect new home for Sarah Jessica Parker's ill-fated Bitten line. With the addition of LC Lauren Conrad Collection, it seems unlikely Kohl's will add Bitten to their lengthy roster of celebrity fashion lines, but I hope they will still consider it.

I agree about Steve and Barry's too.. and I had really high hopes for the Bitten line too:(
Lauren Conrad only has a "clothing line"b/c she was blessed with rich parents, good genes, and being in the right place at the right time. Just b/c she's worked w/the bitchy goul who owns People's Revolution and is taking fashion merchandising classes at FIT does not a couturier make...
And this line proves my poin. Her clothing s-u-u-u-u-u-u-cks. Hard. It's as if flashdance clothing mated with those cheap print scarves they sell on blankets in urban areas, and had a miscarriage.
I guarantee you that, outside of her own press events, she is NOT wearing any of this shit.
WOULDN'T WANT IT IF IT WAS FREE.
