Inspired by a highly-addictive feature in the May issue of Lucky magazine titled "Steal These Looks" (pp. 113-120), I decided to put together my own little "fashion formula" mirrored after model Miranda Kerr, whose effortlessly chic approach to fashion makes her the perfect muse for summer. The recipe is simple: A solid black maxi in a lightweight fabric; slim-fit denim jacket with cuffs rolled up; and embellished t-strap sandals (I adore the low block heel on Miranda's—such a smart solution to the whole what-kind-of-shoes-should-I-wear-with-a-maxi-dress conundrum). Fashion whizzes will also take note of details such as Kerr's wayfarer sunglasses, boyfriend watch and colorful bag, fab finishing touches that add up to one winning look.
