I am in love with these Frye peep-toe slingbacks made from rugged whip-stitched leather that have just the slightest hint of cowgirl. If the price drops down just a little bit more, I might have to get them, but they are currently on sale for $129.95 (down from $188.00) at Anthropologie.com. Just don't buy my size! Kidding.



Mossimo Peace Heeled Sandal, $29.99 at Target.com


I am also in love with these Mossimo Peace Heeled Sandals—in fact, I fell in love with these babies first at my local Tar-jay before discovering the Frye "originals" during a routine lust-session over at Anthropologie.com. If I know what's good for me, I'll pick up the Mossimos because they're just $29.99 and actually have real leather uppers. Oh and right now, Target's having a "buy two get one free" sale on select shoes, so check that out too.

That's actually a very good "inspiration" - I wont say copy because I don't get the feeling Target really copies anyone, and if they do, it's not exact. Plus real uppers - what a steal!

I went to Target today and checked out the Mossimo sandals and they are surprisingly comfy. Great recommendation!

I actually own the Target ones :-) and what a striking similiarity. I bought them because they are made of leather so I figured it was a worth while purchase. They do require a gel insert though! Trust me I learned this the hard way. My guess is that the Frye's won't do that to your feet, but at 29.99 you'd be crazy to buy the Frye's!

You should definitely buy the Target versions because they look exactly the same - I couldn't even tell the difference and thought they were the same shoe until I read what you wrote.

I actually thought about buying the Target versions awhile ago 'cause I thought it was different, something Mary-Kate Olsen would totally wear. But then I decided that I didn't love it enough haha.
