Trend Alert: Acid Wash Jeans

The '80s are back! Acid wash jeans are making a comeback with celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Fergie and Nicole Richie rocking this look. Many of you have already said you can't stand this trend. All I can say is, at least it's affordable! Here's where to get your own acid wash jeans on the cheap.

I saw some acid wash jeans (different colors as well) in Target a while ago... at least 6 months ago.

So 80's! Yup. I'll revisit this trend. Rocked them in 1985 and I’ll rock them again. But with style this time round. No neon and crazy football player shoulder pads for me in 2009.

Def a trend I cannot get into. I just dont think the jeans look flattering to anyone who isnt stick thin. I tried them on once for fun and I was like NO NO NO! Haha

I have the Acid Wash jeans from F21. I'm all about having fun with trends so long as it's done on the cheap! & I have to agree with killakate, these are not flattering on all shapes.

I can't get behind this one. I generally enjoy trends that lend well to a harder/edgy look (shocking, from a former borderline-punk/gothy/grunge girl), but acid wash just doesn't do it for me.

Also, am I the only one who finds the proportion of Lindsay's legs to feet comical (and maybe a little ridiculous)? I'm not sure if it's the angle of the photo, the angle of her body, or the fringe on the shoes, but I can't stop giggling at it.

Acid wash isn't for me. Some people can pull them off-not speaking of just thin people but rather anyone with the guts and quirky style brave enough for the acid wash. I'll have to pass on them though. More power to those who rock them.

It's pretty insulting when people say only thin people can wear such and such look. As long as the garment fits properly, I see no problem. It may not be on everyone's style list but someone who's a size 14 or even 24 could easily pull off any trend. It takes more than a "great body" to pull off a look.

I like those jeans, the ones Lindsay Lohan wore are cute... I wouldn't be able to wear them, though, cause it's way too hot in my town already. Maybe fall? Who knows, the trend might last. (: Great blog, dahling!

LOVE These!!! I have been looking for the right pair for about a year, but kept backing out. Love the 80's!

Shout out for the 80's - I just bought the cutest underwear at K-Mart make by JoeBoxer. I would NEVER again buy underwear with words on the butt, but I just couldn't help it - they were so cute. Pink lining, zebra print and on the butt in metallic letterng "Made in the 80's." How could I not!

Yeah... I'm not the biggest fan of the acid washed look, but I do like the tie dyed or bleached jeans that are gaining popularity.
