Ask BB: Is Louboutinbox.com Legit?

Find genuine Louboutins at sites like Barneys.com.

A couple readers have asked me whether or not Louboutinbox.com is legit after seeing this website's ads appear on my blog (and elsewhere) via the google ad network. My personal opinion? There's NO WAY these shoes are real. Louboutinbox claims to sell Christian Louboutins for around $200 a pair, but as we all know, Louboutins usually cost 50-70% more than that. I wanted to let everyone know that I personally would not shop at this site, and that I'm in the process of trying to figure out if there's a way to block louboutinbox.com from my google adsense account. Remember: If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is! If you'd like to spend $200 on shoes, browse the sale section at shopbop.com (lots of other great shoe designers out there!). And if you want Louboutins, treat yourself to the real deal from one of the following authorized merchants:

I emailed them awhile back to ask if they are authentic. Here's what they wrote:

There's no way I'd order from that company after receiving that e-mail! I know not everyone speaks perfect English, but is it too much to ask to put some effort into spelling and punctuation?!

As a louboutin owner; I can tell you that all the shoes at www.louboutinbox.com are fake.

It is my dream to someday own a pair of Loubies all my own. Love his creations - and his cherry red soles! Great post! :-)

As always BB, you are a mine of information. Thanks for the fabulous heads up.

It's also not at all safe to give people who are already crooks your credit card info. If they're willing to make and sell fakes, they're also willing to take your financial info and sell it to identity thieves.

Great post! Their ads are misleading, so it's great that you clarified it.
The note they sent Jenny is hila-rious!

I just saw this website. Do you think this is legit? http://www.christianlouboutincom.com/index.php

All the shoes are 70% percent off?

No way, no how. I wouldn't order from that site or any other site claiming to sell Louboutins except for the ones I've mentioned above (Saks, Net-a-porter, etc.). Hope this helps.

Wow i myself was wondering about it too - you know the fakes when they only carry the really popular or really high styles.

if you ever purchase a louboutin and want to know the authenticity, please check out the section in the purseblog.com (I think that's the name) - before I bought mine, I went through them first and everyone was really helpful.

They also tell you the real and reputable sellers on Ebay...a lot of those loubs are real! If anyone has any questions about what eBay sellers sell real CL's feel free to ask me, or check out the purse forum. It's good to be smart and thanks to BB for sussing out this blatantly fake proucer. At least they have the balls to admit they are fake though, as illegal as it is.

You can also search Ebay and buy from reputable powersellers who may have customer returns or display loubs for sale. I know the good inspired versions by shoe manufacturers like Jessica Simpson, Steve Madden and Oh Deer are around $100 to $150 so why would the real deal be selling for $200 when most of his shoes are in the $900 range.

I made the mistake of ordering shoes from this website. The shoes were ugly so I sent them back and I have still not received a refund and it has been more than three months and when I email them they never reply. Don't give your money to these crooks

I actually emailed their information email address, and a representative openly replied that the shoes are so cheap because they are replicas, not actual Louboutins.

Sad.

I purchased from them a pair of shoes yesterday. The shoes were for a friend of mine that wanted them and I am very upset. After finishing the transaction on my computer page I found this message:"there no url page with this code"!!!
I have no proof that I purchased these shoes from them and the transaction is in pending in my bank account.
I sent them an email because they don't have a phone number and nobody even bothered to send me an answer.
I am going to call the bank and block the transaction.
