Forever 21 to Launch Home Collection

The Budget Babe hopes Forever 21's upcoming home collection might mirror the glamorous, glossy-white furnishings found in many of their stores.

The Frisky reports that Forever 21 has confirmed its plans to launch a home collection of affordable furniture and home decor accessories. The line will launch at Forever 21's largest stores later on this year, followed by a debut at XXI, their latest concept store. I totally saw this coming (tell me you didn't see it, too) and I am THRILLED. I've often coveted the amazing dressers, mirrors and light fixtures at some of Forever 21's cushiest stores and wondered how I could get my hands on similar stuff. And soon, maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to bring a little of that fabulousness into my own home. Can't wait!

You know I have to say I'm starting to feel like Forever 21 is starting to do too much.

I love their clothing lines and don't mind them exploring different styles (although not sure what Love 21 is all about) but furniture?

I dunno. Good job for them if it's priced reasonably and looks great.

I see what you're saying; they need to be careful not to overextend themselves. At the same time, stores like Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie successfully carry furniture and home decor items, and I think Forever 21 can make it work, too.

I'm really excited about forever 21's new home collection. I love their clothes and I have noticed their furnishings around the stores which is lovely. This is perfect timing for me since I plan on getting my own spot later on this year.

I just hope their home furnishings will be of a better quality than their clothes...I'd hate to have a dresser fall apart after opening and closing the drawers 4 or 5 times.

Don't get me wrong...I love their clothes and I could spend HOURS going through the racks at their stores (has anyone been to the XXI at the Wellington Green mall in West Palm Beach? It literally takes hours to get through that store, it's HUGE!) but I purchase knowing that the probability of whatever I buy lasting through numerous washings is slim to none....

I don't get why people always say that F21 clothing is useless after a few washes or whatever. Everything I've bought from there is still in good condition :shrugs:

I dunno about this move for Forever 21.
I'll be curious to see that what they offer. I love Anthro, but it's hard to believe that 21 can follow them with home stuff and style.

hi Mary! I don't see Forever 21 ever offering Venetian glass chandeliers for $1,000 a la Anthro, rather I was pointing out other stores that successfully sell clothing and home goods. Delia's is another example.
