I've already received a number of requests for cute, affordable coats—and the hunt is on! Or maybe, the search is over: Just feast your eyes on the elegant yet totally cool coat above by BB Dakota. It's functional, stylish and the price (for a coat, people) isn't that bad either. This post is awesome!! How are the quality of all these coats though? I'm in love with that houndstooth one, but I already have so many trenches and pea coats haha.

Two years ago I picked up an awesome BB Dakota coat from Nordstrom Rack - I want to say it was around $40. So check there first! Here in SoCal we can usually get away with shopping for coats later in the season - I know I picked it up before Christmas. :-)

I have the Darlita jacket in a bright yellow that I bought last spring, this is a great buy! Nice and heavy for a cotton trench, great fall and spring coat (for those of us in cold climates)

i adore all the coats no matter the color... as i think every color suits me.. so when it comes to coats i don't mind color and they also don't come in many color. Dakota's coat are really ravishing i checked them on their website and i was a fan as i browsed through the coats.. and the above mentioned coats looks terrific
