Michael Kors may be disappointing Project Runway fans with his lack of appearances (where has he been?!), but he did not disappoint with his Spring 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week. Inspired by the power suit, Kors delivered a sleek collection of jackets, shift dresses and separates with strong architectural shapes, soft colors plucked from city skylines and the occasional bold detail, like cutouts, zippers and asymmetric necklines. I love his shimmering sequinned dresses, metallic skirts paired with luxe knits and the flash of skin through sheer fabrics.
