Amanda Bynes Designs ‘Dear’ Fashion Line For Steve & Barry’s

Someone named Amanda Bynes (who looks a lot like the cheerleader from Heroes) is creating a cheap-chic fashion line for Steve & Barry's, thus following in the footsteps of actress Sarah Jessica Parker and basketball star Stephon Marbury.

Because we can always use more affordable clothing options, we checked out the official site, www.dearbyamanda.com, to see what's in store. Jean jackets, hoodies, jeans, and layered tees account for much of the line, geared towards a younger, teenage crowd. Irrespective of the target audience, we're pretty sure we could put together just about every single teeny-bopper look we've seen so far by taking a quick trip to Delia's, Old Navy and Target. So what's the incentive to shop 'Dear'? Having another choice—that, and all items will sell for $20 or less.

Look for it in stores on August 16th.

First Glance: Libertine for Target's GO International







We just had our first peek at the new offerings from GO design duo Libertine for Target which arrived in stores and online July 15. Yes, we're excited because frankly, we get excited over each new GO collection, and yes, we will be heading to a store near us to see it up close and personal as soon as possible.

Having said that, we're not that impressed with this line overall. Maybe the candy-coated punk-meets-prep look just isn't our style. However, there were a few cute, clever items involving skulls and whales. And we're total suckers for these mesmerizing, brightly colored cardigans made from 95% cotton, 5% cashmere. They're just plain yummy. For $29.99 a pop, we may have to get our fix with more than just one color combination.
