With swing tops, shift dresses and empire waists still all the rage these days, we think J. Lo couldn't have picked a better time in fashion to get pregnant. (Not that she planned her pregnancy around the runways, but hey, it's fortuitous nonetheless.)
We think the always fab J. Lo is one hot mama, but her recent wardrobe and costume choices made us wonder if some of these loose-fitting styles are best reserved for moms-to-be.
Personally, we think a flouncy frock sans cinched waist can be perfect for days when you just don't want to draw attention to every inch of your figure. It can be a comfortable and glamorous look at the same time.
Pair a voluminous chiffon top with leggings or skinny jeans, and you've got another dramatic ensemble that still permits its wearer to inhale and exhale with ease.
::Aaaaaah::
So whether you're with child or not, we think this trend done right speaks volumes—about good taste.
Would you rock J. Lo's look even if you weren't expecting? Or do you think clothes with too much "room to breathe" invite unwanted congratulatory statements from strangers?
