You gotta love a girl with a name like Gwyneth. It begs to be alliterated with noble words like goddess and gorgeous and gladiator. As in, "Goddess Gwyneth looks gorgeous in her gold Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator flats."
Lately, she's looked lovely in everything she's been wearing while making the publicity rounds for her new film Ironman (usually a mini and five-inch heels). Here, the pièce de résistance is most definitely those gleaming metallic sandals. The yummy mummy, as she's known in London where she lives most of the time, keeps the rest of her outfit simple, chic and pared-down.
If the look makes you giddy, gleeful and glad, here's how to get it for less...

Diane Kruger is rocking the romantic ruffle trend just right by pairing a girly pink frock with edgy black tights, studded heels and a funky scarf. It's a guilt-free way to indulge your inner princess and still maintain your too-cool (frugal) fashionista exterior.

Next month, actress and model Elizabeth Hurley will be launching Elizabeth Hurley for Mango, a limited edition swimwear line full of brightly colored bikinis, kaftans, and one-pieces.
Miss Hurley, 42, and a mother of one, looks gorgeous as usual in her photo shoot for the ultra-sexy collection, which will also feature some accessories, including sunglasses, shoes, and jewelry.
If you want to channel Hurley's vixen vibe, expect to spend $40-$70 for a bikini, $140 for a kaftan, and $44 for a beachy bag.

This past week, Fergie showed off her lovely lady lumps when she performed during the American Idol special, Idol Gives Back (which I am not ashamed to say was far more entertaining than this year's Academy Awards. I think the overarching theme of giving to charity made it worthwhile and I'd be more inclined to watch the Oscars if they did something similar.)
But back to Fergie and her outfit - she looked pretty incredible in her skintight black lamé leggings. Paired with a cute mini and leather jacket, this is totally a look you could wear to the clubs. When you start to sweat, you can start peeling off the layers, much like Fergie did on the show. And, of course, the budget-friendly version of her sexy leggings comes courtesy of American Apparel.

This is what I would wear to the office if I worked at, say, Vogue: Black Halo's tweed and silk cami dress (left). I'd pair it with a shrunken cashmere cardigan, 5-inch stilettos and dark-rimmed Chanel reading glasses, worn precipitously at the tip of my nose. But seeing as how I don't work at Vogue, I'll forgo the fantasy for the affordable frock on the right. And with the money I save, I'll pick up a copy of My Misspent Youth.

Summer isn't here just yet, but you can still wear shorts if the mood strikes. Pair them with black tights, boots (or ankle booties), and a spiffy black blazer and you'll be stylin' without freezing your legs off (cuz that would look pretty silly.) Here's how to get this look on the cheap:

[2] Wayfarer Sunglasses at OCShades.com, $16.95
[3] Mossimo Black: Boyfriend Blazer at Target.com, $27.99

Have you noticed how nothing ever seems to go out of style these days? It's like more and more "in" styles just keep on getting thrown into the mix, yet nothing ever gets tossed "out." But hey, we're not complaining cuz it just means that we babes on a budget get more bang for our buck. (Try saying that five times fast.)
Back to the trend on hand: Denim lightens up for Spring. Try the look with faded flare-leg jeans a la Nicole and Posh. Trust us, you'll like having another pair of pants on hand when your dark skinnies start to disintegrate from all the Winter wear-n-tear (but don't worry, those will still be "in," too!)
