The problem with imitating celebrity styles is that most of them don't have normal jobs, hence, they offer little inspiration in the realm of real-world, office-appropriate attire. Sometimes I wish the paparazzi would just follow around the women of Wall Street or curators at the MoMA so we could stalk their styles instead, (although I suppose that would get in the way of their work, just a tad).
Fortunately, sometimes stars actually
do offer up work-chic outfit ideas: When Kim Kardashian recently got dolled up for a day of work, namely, attending a Christian Siriano for Victoria's Secret Makeup launch event, she paired a polished white shirt with black pants for a look that could easily be adapted to anyone's work environment.
Here, I've stayed true to Kim's fashion-y, chic vibe, making this a look that would be most appropriate for someone working in a creative field with a laid-back dress code. Also, please note that while this look is anything but sloppy, the shoes hold some major sex-appeal. Definitely tone it down if you're working in a more traditional office. Ditto on the pink nail polish. Otherwise, you're good to go!
