Off the Rack: Spring Dresses and More at Target

No fuss fabric, chic stripes and a gorgeous blue hue make this a great buy for spring.

Before I get to my Liberty of London review, I just wanted to share a few photos of some standout spring pieces from Target's non-designer lines like Merona and Liz Lange. I've seen a lot of adorable dresses that meet all my criteria: No-fuss fabric, compatible with a regular bra, and hemlines at or above the knee so you can wear them in professional settings or to family gatherings. I must sound dreadfully practical but fashion you can wear in your real life is much more exciting to me than a dress that just collects dust in your closet. Keep reading for more highlights and check your local store for so much more that I wasn't able to photograph!

Tibi Fall 2010 Runway Show

I attended my first Tibi show at New York Fashion Week and it was dazzling. For Fall 2010, Tibi designer Amy Smilovic styled models with a glorious poof of super curly hair for an ethereal feel. The color palette was a rich mix of navy, mauve, black, burgundy and lively abstract prints. My favorites looks paired opposites like a bow-tied blouse with tweed shorts or a sweater layered and belted over pleated trousers. The platform clogs, colorful tights and leather hip pouches proved to be the perfect accessories. Tibi just keeps getting better and I can't wait to see where the brand will go next.
