During my last trip to Target's shoe department, I was surprised to find four new sandal styles by Miss Trish of Capri, including a coral t-strap flat, flower-and-bee flip-flop, starfish toe-ring flat and seahorse t-strap flat. There's also an adorable lizard ankle-strap flip-flop which you can see online (my store didn't have them in stock). Each whimsical pair is just $24.99 yet looks super luxe and bougie, the sand-and-sea motifs conjuring up images of uppity beachcombers wearing Lilly Pulitzer in Nantucket. The Zac Posen for Target collection went on sale late last night, and by this morning, a few of the items were already sold out! I try not to get caught up in the shopping frenzy, but honestly, who am I kidding?! Target knows how to get a girl excited and I am powerless to resist. So what did I buy? Well, this morning I didn't actually get anything because the item I wanted most—namely, the tuxedo blazer—was not yet available online. But when I returned to my computer this evening, the tuxedo blazer was up—YAY!—so I bought that for $49.99, as well as the black ruched skirt ($34.99), and the tie-dye tank dress ($29.99). Not what I'd consider the "standout" pieces by any stretch, but I went for items that I felt I would actually wear —pieces that would work with my figure, my style and my budget. I hope they fit, and if not, I can always return them! So. What did YOU buy?

Caldrea recently launched Caldrea Essential Collection for Target, a budget-friendly line of aromatherapy homekeeping products including dish soap, countertop cleaner, hand lotion, hand soap, hand balm, all-purpose cleaner, as well as home ambiance items including candles and reed diffusers. Scents for the homekeeping products, priced from $5.99 to $19.99, include Citron Ginger, Herbs of Provence, and Olive Oil. Home fragrance items, priced from $9.99 to $14.99 come scented in Citron Ginger, Water Lily, Pomegranate Fig, White Birch and Cypress Sage.

In an unprecedented turn of events, my local Target actually had a few styles from the Cynthia Vincent for Target collection set out early, rather than late. Hurray! I saw three styles, the strappy ring flat sandals in yellow and black, as well as the cognac wedge sandal and the ring heeled sandal. I wanted to get all four but decided to just stick with my original plan, which was to get the cognac wedges and the tribal print wedges (didn't see those yet), so I got the cognac wedges and I'm holding out for additional styles to emerge. The shoes definitely met my realistic expectations of quality and fit. I think they look great in person, fabulous on the foot and I can't wait to wear them! Shop this collection on Target's website tonight (they usually pop up around 3 or 4 a.m.-ish) or visit a Target store tomorrow when the collection "officially" launches.
