Versace for H&M Ad Campaign

Versace for H&M

Images from the Versace for H&M collaboration have been slowly emerging, including two shots from the ad campaign via Fashin. The ads feature (from left) models Sasha Pivovarova, Daphne Groeneveld, and Lindsey Wixson showcasing such pieces as a vibrant tropical print pant and tunic topped with a cropped leopard jacket, and edgier studded leather jackets with a very Versace, Roman border design. I'm excited to see more from this budget line, it's looking classier than real Versace - how about you?

Win Cool Stuff: $100 to Spend at Rue La La

Please note: This giveaway has ended and is now closed to further entries.

Sometimes a great online deal can become merely a so-so deal once you tag on steep shipping costs. To lessen the pain of shipping fees, one of my favorite limited-time shopping sites Rue La La has revealed a new way to shop online – The Rue 30. With this new shipping feature, members pay an initial shipping charge of $9.95, and then for the next 30-day period, any items purchased on ruelala.com, no matter the brand or volume, will be shipped via standard shipping for free! (Subject to certain restrictions) To help users keep track of their shipping dates, a personalized "countdown calendar" will also be embedded in the Rue La La website, alerting members to the remaining days in their free shipping period.

To celebrate this new shopping option, I've teamed up with Rue La La to give three (3) lucky Budget Babe readers $100 in credits to try The Rue 30 themselves!

To enter:

  • Answer the following question in the comments section below: What are three items for fall that you plan on purchasing with your prize, should you win?

  • Like Rue La La on Facebook (optional, please leave one additional comment per entry)

  • Follow Rue La La on Twitter (optional, please leave one additional comment per entry)

Good luck!!

Giveaway ends at 12 noon ET on 10/11/11. Please note: This is not a sponsored post. If you don't already have a free Rue La La account, you will have to create one should you win in order to redeem your prize.

The Look for Less: Bottega Veneta Woven Clutch

For my wedding this past Saturday (which, by the way, was an absolute dream - thank you all sooo much for the well wishes, I treasure each one!!), I envisioned carrying a woven ivory silk clutch similar to this one by Bottega Veneta, $1,160 at bluefly.com.

Instead, I got the look for less with this gorgeous clutch from Nordstrom.com ($78). I didn't know where it was half the time (my sister/maid-of-honor took care of details like that) but at the end of the evening, we were reunited and I was glad to have my personal items safely stored in a precious container which I'm sure I will use again. This purse is really beautifully made and has a silver chain strap that you can tuck inside. Love!

MNG by MANGO Mission: Milan Mademoiselle

MNG Mission:...

Kaboodle

MNG Mission:... by thebudgetbabe

Last week, I completed my first MNG by MANGO Mission by creating a look inspired by London's leading lady, Kate Middleton. This week's challenge? Create a Kaboodle styleboard inspired by the streets of Milan using this MNG by MANGO leather jacket.

I've been dying to get a pleated skirt, so I paired the edgy black leather MNG by MANGO jacket with a flowy emerald-green number. A simple white blouse, tall black ankle boots and leopard print bag finish the look.

How would you style this jacket? You can create your own set on Kaboodle, then enter to win a trip to join myself and 9 other bloggers in Barcelona to visit the MNG by MANGO studios! Click here to enter.

Just A Quick Note to Say...

I'm getting married today!! I promise to share details and photos soon, and will resume normal posting in a few days. Thank you so so much for all the well wishes and kind words on Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Love,
Soon-to-be Mrs. BB
