H&M's Next Collab Inspired by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

To coincide with the highly anticipated premiere of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (from Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, directed by David Fincher) H&M will launch a capsule collection inspired by the film in collaboration with Trish Summerville, the movie's costume designer. Check out the brief video above to hear Trish talk about the inspiration for the dark, urban feeling collection - replete with leather jackets and torn jeans - a nod to the anti-heroine, Lisbeth Salander. The collection drops December 14, think you'll check it out? I'm curious to see the film (although I'm afraid it might be too scary for me, I'm such a chicken).

Doo.Ri for Macy's Impulse

Doo-Ri Chung is the next designer to be tapped by Macy's for an upcoming collaboration to launch February 15th. Chung's collection will include her signature draped jersey, knitwear, and art-inspired prints on short- and maxi-length dresses, leggings, blouses, and trench coats, affordably priced from $39 to $159.

Chung is the fifth designer this year chosen to collaborate with Macy's, following in the footsteps of Kinder Aggugini, Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld and Giambattista Valli, whose collection of cocktail dresses will be available at Macy's next week.

Judging by the five sketches that have been released so far, I think this capsule should be interesting. Any Doo.Ri fans out there?

Behind-the-Scenes at the MANGO Headquarters in Spain

Today I toured the MANGO headquarters in Barcelona, Spain - surprise! Aside from the fact that I'm exhausted and totally jet lagged, I am so excited and happy to finally be here in beautiful Barcelona - the final stop of my MNG by MANGO Mission - along with 9 other fabulous bloggers and the winner of the ELLE Sweepstakes. It all kinda feels like a dream. Ya know what else must be a dream? Working for MANGO! Today we toured their enviable headquarters where over 2,000 employees work to design all the looks you see in Mango stores and MNG by MANGO in-store boutiques at JCPenney (yes, MNG is designed exclusively for JCPenney right here in Spain and it's all authentic MANGO).

Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Mini Line For Target

The lookbook is out for Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Mini Line for Target, a collection of apparel and accessories for infants, toddlers, and tweens priced from $4 - $60. Although the line drops after Halloween (November 13th to be exact) you might confuse some of the looks with Halloween costumes, but that's part of the charm of this "Japanese anime-inspired" collection. From tutus to plaid pants, leather biker jackets to polka-dot skirts, Harajuku Mini is a whimsical mash-up of fun pieces that kids will most likely love.
