Love the blazer, the rest of it is a mess. This is a girl who should never wear flats anyway, but neutral flats with a sequined tuxedo jacket? And the librarian skirt?? She could have rocked this with some black leather pants and high heels.

I completely agree with you, MEP. I saw this picture on one of the gossip blogs and thought to myself: "What is Jessica thinking?!" To me, she rarely gets it right fashion-wise. The embellished blazer is lovely, but definitely not with that outfit.

Thank goodness you guys are on the same page, before I scrolled down and saw your comments, I was just horrified by the flats and was hoping someone else would feel the same way! The blazer is amazing, and you know, I could live with the top and jacket - don't love it, but whatever - but this needed a sexy pump - black patent leather or maybe a silver or red to pop it. Those shoes like the emergency comfy shoes you bring to change into if your heels are actually making your feet bleed.

I love the buckle flats, but to be honest when I saw the picture I was overwhelmed. Sequin blazer, with sparkly dangling earrings? Too much for the office if you ask me.

I agree with all of you! Overall, this outfit is awful. The blazer is fabulous, but that's about it. The grey tee and flats are terrible.

Express also has some cute, inexpensive embellished blazers.

This kind of blazer is really marvellous! I think it is an excellent variant either for a party or for visiting your relatives - in both situations a women will look radiant in this model!
