Win Cool Stuff: Kohl's $100 Gift Card Giveaway

UPDATE 4/30/12: And the winner is… #148 Lisa Kramp! Congrats to our winner and thanks to everyone who participated.

Please note: This giveaway has ended and is closed to further entries.

I've teamed up with Kohl's to offer one lucky Budget Babe reader the chance to win a $100 Kohl's gift card! You can get so much with a hundo at Kohl's - yesterday I picked up a pink and black floral print LC Lauren Conrad dress, blush pink LC platform pumps and Candie's leopard loafers with my $100 giftcard, courtesy of Kohl's. And I still had money left over!

So let's see what YOU can score with your gift card.

To enter:
  • Tell me how you "shop to win" in the comments section below. Be creative!

Optional (leave one comment for each):

  • "Like" The Budget Babe on Facebook.

  • Tweet "I want to win a $100 @kohls giftcard from @BudgetBabe! http://su.pr/2ZMSjN #giveaway"

Want another chance to win a $500 Kohl's giftcard? Head to the Kohl's Facebook page where you can learn more about their "Hauls of Fame" contest. Upload your haul videos or photos to win.

Good luck!

Entries must be posted by 12 noon ET on April 25th, 2012 to be eligible to win. I received a $100 Kohl's gift card in conjunction with this post. This is not a sponsored post. Open to US residents only. Kohl's "Hauls of Fame contest" is in no way affiliated with TheBudgetBabe.com.

The Look for Less: Kenneth Jay Lane Silver Chain Necklace

Kenneth Jay Lane's silver chain necklace sold for $65 at Rent the Runway but is no longer available. I actually rented it last year, and can tell you it's very big and chunky in person.

When I saw this necklace today at Charlotte Russe, I was instantly reminded of its designer doppelganger. The Charlotte Russe version comes in silver or gold for $7.50 and you can click the image below to view or purchase.

5 Online Consignment Shops for Selling Your Unwanted Fashions

Spring is the perfect time to clean out your closet - so why not make a little extra cash in the process? After all, if you're a Budget Babe, you've waited for sales, clipped those coupons and made sure you bought your wardrobe at the best price possible. Donating unused items is easy (and tax deductible) but selling your gently used clothing, shoes, bags and jewelry is a great way to recoup a portion of what you've spent - and give you some spending money that you can put towards new purchases. Here's a round-up of 5 online consignment stores - some I've used, some are new-to-me - where you can list and sell your unwanted fashions. And of course you can always shop at these fine retailers, too, especially if you're looking for genuine designer goods at a discount. Got a consignment shop tip? Tell me in the comments!
