Introducing The Westfield Style Lounge

The Westfield Style Lounge via the Westfield Trumbull Facebook page

As a Westfield Style Ambassador, I wanted to share really exciting news about something called the Westfield Style Lounge, which provides shoppers with a free, one-on-one fashion consultation with Style for Hire stylists when they visit the malls.

That's right: You can get real-time help from real stylists while you're shopping at the mall.

There are two ways to take advantage of this free service: Head to the Westfield Style Lounge, a dedicated space in the mall where professional stylists will provide free personalized style consultations for shoppers.

Or, just use your mobile phone to simple e-mail a photo of your look to the on-call stylist for an instant response. Brilliant!

Authentic Icon for Kohl's

Kohl's has launched an exclusive American Idol-inspired apparel collection called Authentic Icon (it was only a matter of time, right?). If you watch Idol, you probably saw the top ten contestants getting decked out in their Authentic Icon duds with the help of designer Tommy Hilfiger, who has been mentoring the budding superstars on achieving their signature looks. The collection for teen girls and guys includes things like graphic tees, tops, jackets, jeans and dresses with a rock 'n' roll edge. But it's not exactly allowance-money friendly: A graphic halter maxi dress is priced at $72.99 (down from $98). My advice: Get in on the Idol action for free by entering Kohl's sweepstakes to win one of four trips to see the show's finale, while 50 runners-up will each win a $100 Kohl's gift card.

Charlotte Free for Forever 21

Forever 21 has signed American model Charlotte Free for their Spring/Summer 2012 campaign, "Love is Free," shot by Kenneth Cappello. Known for her pink hair, pout and personal style, Charlotte Free's image can be seen in Forever 21 stores starting next month, dressed in the brand's neon statement pieces, floral pantsuits, Americana-inspired ensembles, and metallic accessories, as featured in the campaign's lookbook. Neon tank tops (starting at $5.80) and dresses (starting at $15.80) inspired by the campaign are currently available in stores, with more coming online and in stores next month. Also, be on the look out for a series of "Love is Free" campaign products for purchase debuting in May. This Charlotte Free (that can't be her real name, can it!?) is definitely a model to watch!

Enter Westfield Style's Spring Trends Challenge on Pinterest!

I've recently joined forces with Westfield malls as one of their blogger ambassadors (a match made in retail heaven, if I do say so myself), and my first order of business is to tell you about their just-launched spring trends Pinterest contest - you're gonna love this!

Just head on over to the Westfield Style Pinterest channel and create your own board inspired by one of Westfield's key spring trends: East Meets West, Good Sport, Ladies Who Lunch, or New Uniform. One grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses-paid shopping trip with Westfield Style's Creative Director Stacy London of TLC's What Not to Wear.

Good Luck and Happy Pinning!
