Celebrities offer a lot in the way of outfit inspiration, after all, they're usually dressed by professional stylists in the latest trends. And when they're not on the red carpet, they're usually wearing pretty regular clothes, not high-fashion runway looks. But while I strive to replicate celebrity looks as closely as possible with my daily "Dress by Number" posts, the goal was never to have readers mirror the look, rather, my aim is to present each outfit like a recipe - you can follow it step by step to achieve a certain look, but then you should feel free to improvise, edit and tweak that look to make it your own. Here are ten ways to do just that.

Dubbed H&M for Water, the Hawaiian-inspired line boasts fashionable attire for the entire family, from palm-print skirts and dresses to retro swimwear and an amazing range of accessories, like bandanas and see-through beach bags. What's more, the H&M for Water collection includes garments made of organic cotton and other sustainable materials, something that H&M seems genuinely committed to incorporating into more and more of their products. I absolutely love the prints in this collection, which conjure up images of vintage Hawaiian travel posters and postcards, and pin-up pretty girls sunning themselves in flirty one-piece bandeaus. Bar III has always been about mixing old and new, and this spring, the contemporary clothing line with a vintage flair available at Macy's will be taking over some of the top flea markets in major cities across the country. Beginning in New York City this weekend, May 5th, Bar III ready-to-wear clothing for women, along with men's, jewelry, and home items will be available for sale at the Hester Street Fair.
