Princess Vera Wang for Kohl's Fall 2012 Lookbook

Princess Vera Wang for Kohl's Lookbook

I'm happy to be able to share the complete Princess Vera Wang for Kohl's fall 2012 collection lookbook, at long last! This is designer Vera Wang's new juniors line for girls who were "born to rule," as the catchy tagline says. We first learned about this line back in December and I got to preview the debut collection of apparel, accessories and shoes in NYC a few months back but had to keep everything secret until now. For the fearless fashionista, Princess Vera Wang features "unexpected details and artful bits of whimsy." Don't let the name, "Princess," fool you - it's not all pink tulle and pearls, rather, this line ranges from pretty to prep to punk. I'm not the target demographic but I think the line is really fun and fresh for young girls and yes, even us adults (loving the edgy jewelry and print pants that I can tone down with a button front shirt and blazer). I see a lot of potential here. Priced under $85, you can shop the Princess Vera Wang line come July 9, 2012 in stores and at Kohls.com.

The Look for Less: DV by Dolce Vita 'Jamison' Boots

These genuine leather DV by Dolce Vita 'Jamison' boots are $58.90 (down from $118.95) at Nordstrom.com and come in taupe, beige, orange-red or teal.

I just bought these faux-leather 'Kaelyn' boots from Target ($29.99) and someone complimented me on them and asked if they were by Dolce Vita - oops! Didn't even realize these were a knockoff. (Or are they? It seems like Dolce Vita has given Target their blessing to make lower priced versions of lots of their shoe styles, doesn't it?)

Anyways, I love love love my Kaelyn's, wore them all day while running around and my feet couldn't have been happier. They look great worn with jeans or skirts and dresses. Highly recommend. I'm thinking about getting the Jamisons, too, just because I love this style so much.

5 Under $50: Inspired by Blake Lively's Turquoise Earrings

Blake Lively looked stunning at the NYC premiere of her new movie 'Savages' in a custom yellow Gucci gown and turquoise Lorraine Schwartz drop earrings. And can we talk about her fishtail braid for a moment? Totally pin-worthy. If you're feeling Blake's look, too, here are 5 turquoise statement earrings that would look amazing with upswept hair and a shoulder-baring dress this summer.

Refinery29 Launches New E-Commerce Platform

Today, Refinery29 launched a new e-commerce platform called R29 SHOPS.

Previously Refinery29 tested the e-commerce waters with their Reserve program, and now R29 Shops takes things to a whole 'nother level. You'll find Groupon-esque deals as well as exclusive products, mini-shops and a 360-degree marketplace to give everyone access to some of the great find their privileged NYC editors discover every day (privileged by virtue of living in NYC, hence having access to the best fashion and shopping in the world).

I think the new site and shops look great. Within moments of logging in with my Twitter account (Facebook works, too), I found myself coveting half-off fashions by Erin Fetherston and a vintage Missoni clutch. Then I got lost in Refinery29's newly organized video section, touring Man Repeller's closet and learning how to curl my hair with a flat iron.

All of this and more awaits you at R29 SHOPS. They seem pretty unstoppable, don't they? Like what you see? Think you'll make it a daily must-shop?
