Lands' End Canvas Fall 2012 Lookbook

I have such a sweet spot for Lands' End, and their Fall 2012 Canvas collection lookbook just makes me love them that much more. Lands' End Canvas, in case you need a refresher, is the cooler, slightly younger line of apparel, shoes and accessories that Lands' End introduced a few seasons ago. The silhouettes are generally a bit more feminine and fitted and the colors, fabrics and prints are a tad more hip and on-trend. But it's still that great Lands' End quality and classic American styling we've come to expect (which lagged a bit there in the '90s with outsourcing to China, as happened with most apparel companies, but I'd say they've gotten things back to the way they used to be.)

As you browse these photos for inspiration, note the rich new colors and the completely redesigned Chinos, cut slim from hip to ankle and available in fresh colors like Raisin, Peacock Blue, Velvet Orange, Malachite and Yummy Praline ($60). Almost everything's priced under $100, and Canvas has great sales, too. I'm ready to cozy up to a fire with a good book and get my fall fashion on.

Macy's Fall 2012 Lookbook

Macy's hits all the right notes with the Fall 2012 ready-to-wear lookbook, showcasing key trends from brands like RACHEL Rachel Roy, Bar III, INC, Tommy Hilfiger and more. Peplum is coming back as you probably have noticed (love the dress above), as well as leather accents, printed denim and pops of bold color like red, rust, turquoise and mustard. I'm excited to see two collar necklaces in this lookbook (gives me some ideas on how to wear mine), bright blazers and ankle crop pants. Which pieces can you see yourself wearing?

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Fall 2012 Lookbook

Get ready for a major dose of pretty: Here's the LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Fall 2012 lookbook. With it's outdoor garden theme, breezy dresses and light color palette, you might mistake this for a summer collection - but this is what fall fashion looks like to a California girl (using my imagination here). This won't be your source for cozy sweaters and wool coats, but it will be your go-to stop for layering essentials like feminine tops and on-trend accents like the floral blazer ($70) above, which I've been lusting after since seeing it at the Kohl's fall press preview some months back. Other highlights for me include the faux leather pants ($54), embellished-sleeve top ($36) and polka dot blouse with contrast collar ($50). Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go waste a couple hours trying to recreate Lauren's amazing crown-of-braids hairstyle. Available from August - October, the LC Lauren Conrad Fall Collection ranges from $36-$70 in stores and at kohls.com.

Kirna Zabete at Target Look Book

As I scanned my post-vacation email inbox this morning (568 messages strong), I was excited to spy a note from Target alerting me to the Kirna Zabete at Target Look Book, part of the second installment of The Shops at Target coming this fall. Co-created by the Kirna Zabête boutique owners, Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini, Kirna Zabête at Target includes women's apparel and accessories that reflect the shop owners' personal styles - including handbags, scarves, hats and jewelry - with an "urban-chic" sensibility. There's a lot to look forward to in this collection, from a genuine leather moto jacket and graphic printed skirts to bright floral blouses and sparkly rhinestone jewelry. Some of the styling in this lookbook is a bit frenetic for my taste, but I can see many individual pieces that I love, like the leatherette skirt, tuxedo blazer (love it layered with that maxi dress), leopard trench and versatile long sleeve shirtdresses. With nearly 100 pieces ranging in price from $9.99 to $199.99, Kirna Zabête at Target will be available September 9, 2012 at all Target stores and Target.com.

Alright, ladies, what do you think?
