While backstage at Zac Posen, I touched base with the Essie team to find out what Zac wanted on all his models' nails. To complement the elegance and glamour of his Spring 2013 collection, the designer was "very specific" about having a nude nail - but not just any nude. Rather, he thoughtfully considered each models' unique skin tone, and worked with Essie to find four nude shades ranging from a dark taupe to a peachy neutral. For darker skin tones, nails were given one coat of Glamor Purse. For fair skin, A Crewed Interest was used, while medium skin tones received Broach the Subject or Not Just A Pretty Face. The result was a beautiful polished manicure that added the perfect, seamless finishing touch.
