Earlier this evening, Target held their launch event for the highly anticipated Prabal Gurung for Target collection at Pier 57 in New York City. The collection, whose campaign is represented by actress Olivia Thirlby, is inspired by love; a woman's journey through its different phases and the clothes she wears along the way. It features over eighty pieces and is packed with bright florals for the spring, standout shoes and bags and amazing jewelry.

The flattering silhouettes and bold use of patterns and colors make every piece a desirable addition to any closet. With prices ranging from $12.99 to $199.99, and most pieces priced at $50 and under, this collection is affordable and completely accessible, without breaking the bank. My favorites were the sweatshirt in the "First Date" print, priced at $29.99 and the lace-up pumps in black, priced at $39.99. I also really loved the pieces in the floral "Crush" print and paint splatter "Nolita" print. I appreciate how whimsical and contemporary this collection is. The pieces can be worn together, incorporated into an existing wardrobe and dressed up or down.

The collection hits Target stores and target.com on Sunday, February 10. Do you have your shopping list ready? —VWS

What I'm Bearing: A Baby!

Today I wanted to share some exciting personal news with all of you: I'm having a baby!! The punny title of this post was my husband's idea (thanks, love). "Excited" doesn't really even begin to sum up how I feel. This is a dream come true for me and my husband and we're over the moon to be on this new journey in life together, growing our family and sharing with loved ones. We are truly, truly blessed. I'm due in June and we are waiting to find out the gender. The photos here were actually taken back in December which is why my bump is so tiny but I will share more pictures soon. If I start tweeting about my love for H&M maternity jeans or how much I miss sushi, now you'll know why! xoBB

{What I'm actually wearing: Wrap dress from the Penny Chic by Shauna Miller collection, coming soon to Walmart.com for just $20!!}
