Budget Beauty Buy of the Week: Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser

Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser Review

In this weekly column, I’m bringing you my favorite budget-friendly beauty products that are available online and in-store. Also make sure to check out my beauty and lifestyle blog, HonestlyJamie.com, for even more beauty product reviews and tips.

The Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser is the ultimate cleanser for ALL skin types, but especially for sensitive skin. Guys, this stuff is not only great at taking off my makeup, but it’s also 98% natural, cruelty-free and only costs $9…you absolutely can’t beat this. The gentle formula combines soy proteins and green tea (both super calming) to cleanse your face, all while not stripping your skin of its natural moisture. This is a good thing, I promise.

Get the look: Gladiators + Printed Shorts

One of my favorite trends this summer is printed shorts paired with gladiator sandals – a cool combination that's effortless enough for everyday yet still makes a strong fashion statement. Here are the pieces you'll need to pull off this look – once you have the basics down, the combinations are endless!

New at Sam's Club: Neutrogena Summer Must-Haves

Neutrogena

Neutrogena® has been one of my go-to brands for skincare this summer (this daily moisturizer is my favorite), so I was super excited to learn that some of their top products are now available at Sam's Club (not a new product, but new at Sam’s Club)!!

If you're a Sam's Club Member, you'll definitely want to check out the Neutrogena section at your store, where you'll spot Neutrogena Shine Control Universal Shade (Primer & Powder) AND Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. The Shine Control combats shine for up to 8 hours while the Acne Wash uses 100% naturally derived grapefruit extract to help clear breakouts.

Have you shopped the budget-friendly beauty items at Sam's Club? Got any favorite Neutrogena products that I should know about/try? Let me know! And if you try these Neutrogena products for yourself, join the convo on social media with hashtags #NeutrogenaShineControl #NeutrogenaPinkGrapefruit.

Sponsored Post disclosure: This post was sponsored by Neutrogena® and I was compensated by payment. Regardless, what I have written is my own opinion and experience and I hope you find it of use.

Beauty Splurge vs. Steal of the Week: MAC Coral Lipstick

MAC Orange Lipstick Splurge vs. Save

In this weekly column, I’m bringing you my favorite budget-friendly beauty products (and their high-end equivalents!) that are available online and in-store. This week, we’re chatting coral lipstick (!). Also make sure to check out my blog, HonestlyJamie.com for even more beauty product reviews and tips.

We all know how good MAC lipstick really is (like, really, really good) and their Pro LongWear Lip Crème in Good To Go is certainly no exception. I’ve been looking for a fun coral lipstick for summer but, eh, I’m not really willing to shell out $18 for a color that I’ll probably only wear a few times…but, luckily for me (and you!), I found a super close dupe: Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Sweet Nectar is VERY close…not exactly the same, but close. The Milani version isn’t quite as bright but it still gives me the fun, summery coral lip that I wanted, and for only $5.50. Done deal.

Beauty Splurge vs. Steal of the Week: Bobbi Brown Finishing Powder

Splurge vs Steal: Bobbi Brown Finishing Powder

In this weekly column, I’m bringing you my favorite budget-friendly beauty products (and their high-end equivalents!) that are available online and in-store. This week, we’re chatting finishing powder (!). Also make sure to check out my blog, HonestlyJamie.com for even more beauty product reviews, tips and tricks.

Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder is not only pretty to look at, but it also serves as a brightening pick-me-up for your face. The powder illuminates your skin and adds a little healthy glow, even when your skin is looking a little, errr, drab…but the price? No bueno. I have no problem spending money on a product that’s totally necessary but getting a little glow is NOT worth $52, at least not to me.

The alternative? e.l.f. Studio Tone Correcting Powder not only looks almost exactly like the Bobbi Brown version, but it also has the same results! The colors blend together seamlessly and work to neutralize redness and also brighten you up, a la Bobbi.
