Inspired by her home state of California, the fall collection entitled "Nouveau Romance" mixes feminine pieces with a modern edge that can be worn just about any season. Highlights include a faux leather skater skirt in black or merlot ($35, down from $50), nude strappy "Alina" heels ($60), pleated chiffon midi skirt ($54) and double buckle "Cedar" ankle boots ($80). Once again, I think Lauren has spotted the top trends girls want to wear, from crop tops to the soft pastel color palette, and made it fresh and affordable at Kohl's. Did I just blow your mind? It's hard to believe that Juicy Couture, the once glamorous LA-brand created by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor in 1997, would find itself at a budget retailer in 2014.
