Kohl’s to Debut Next DesigNation Collection by MILLY in Spring 2015

Milly for Kohl's coming next spring!

Kohl’s just announced their next designer collaboration will be with Milly - and I couldn't be more excited! Known for her modern silhouettes, bold prints and luxurious fabrics, Milly designer Michelle Smith will create a limited-edition collection inspired by Capri to launch in Spring 2015 exclusively at Kohl's and KOHLS.COM.

The MILLY for DesigNation collection will offer a complete range of dresses, skirts and tops in "custom prints and vibrant colors inspired by Capri’s luscious landscapes and dazzling blue sea." Prices for the collection will start at $38.

This partnership will be the sixth designer for the retailer’s DesigNation limited-edition collection. Today marks the launch of the Elie Tahari for Kohl's collection, which I'm heading out to see later this afternoon!

Who's beyond excited to see how Milly will translate for Kohl's?!

The Limited Collection Inspired by Scandal

The Limited Scandal collection

The Limited has partnered with actress Kerry Washington and costume designer Lyn Paolo to introduce an affordable collection of women’s apparel inspired by the hit ABC drama Scandal. The collection includes tops, pants, jackets and outerwear worthy of Scandal's leading lady Olivia Pope, who inspired millions of fans to tune in not only for the story but the fashion, too. Prices start at $49 and you can view the entire lookbook on The Limited's Facebook page, plus shop the collection in stores and online at THELIMITED.COM beginning today, September 23rd. Although I don't get to watch the show, I'm loving many of the powerful-femme looks, like the powder pink coat ($249) above. If you shop at The Limited, you'll want to check this collection out (especially when it goes on sale, hint hint!)

Off the Rack: Altuzarra for Target Review

Off the Rack: Altuzarra for Target

This morning, I wrote a post about what I ordered online from the just-launched Altuzarra for Target collection; now here are some photos I snapped in the afternoon at one of my local Target stores. Truth be told, there wasn't a huge selection, but there were plenty of sizes left for the items they did stock. I didn't find the sold-out belt I wanted (boo) but I was able to scope out the fabrics and get a feel for sizing, too.

Altuzarra for Target Launched Today: Let's Talk About What We Bought

Altuzarra for Target Is Here: What I Bought

The highly-anticipated Altuzarra for Target collection has launched at Target stores, TARGET.COM and NET-A-PORTER.COM. I didn't stay up last night to shop but I logged on a few minutes ago (around 7:50 am EST) and was able to purchase two of the three items I wanted: The sumptuous red wrap-effect satin-jersey dress ($39.99), which I fell in love with after seeing how well it looked on Naomi Watts at the launch party, and the embroidered cotton-blend twill dress ($49.99), which is a fresh update on the LBD and features the collection's signature heron motif. I plan on wearing these to an upcoming semi-casual fall wedding lunch and dinner. I placed my orders from Net-a-Porter rather than Target.com because while both sites offer free shipping and returns, Net-a-porter offers fancy packaging. And it just feels more luxe. There, I said it.

Target and TOMS Team Up for the Holidays

Target and TOMS are teaming up on a limited-edition collection that will launch November 16, just in time for the holidays. TOMS is the shoe company built on the model of "one for one" - buy a pair of their beloved slip-on shoes, and a pair of shoes is donated to someone in need. And the Target collab will follow suit, so that with every purchase from the collection, donations of meals, shoes or blankets will be made to those who need it most.
