Off the Rack: New Jewelry at Target and More

Love the jewelry at Target!

With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought it fitting to showcase some of the latest baubles catching my eye in the jewelry department at Target. Don't they have the best stuff?! From statement necklaces to statement earrings, Target has on-trend sparkle that will help transform existing clothes in your wardrobe into a fab Valentine's Day look (budget-friendly!) - or make a sweet gift for a special friend. I'd love to receive this necklace - I love the color palette of mint, navy and smoky topaz - this bold bib necklace, or this elegant necklace (only $11.98 online at Target.com!) And because our homes need love, too, I mixed in a few photos of some of the new home decor items in store. Bright yellow, coral and blue are just what you need to liven your space and keep the winter doldrums at bay.

Off the Rack: Cute Sweaters at Target (Some on Clearance!)

Cute sweaters at Target

Winter's not over yet (sorry to say) but luckily Target has some cool sweaters to keep you cozy. I got to try some on last weekend while my husband chased our little guy around the store, and picked up a soft gray pullover with small gemstone clusters (reminiscent of J.Crew) for a steal. (It's $16.78 online plus 10% off with code EXTRA10). I'm beginning to feel like I keep wearing the same things over and over again when it gets to be this cold, so a new top thrown into the mix helps shake things up. Keep reading to see more of the sweaters I tried on and loved. Looking at these photos, I wish I had bought this mint green sweater, too! (Now $17.48 online plus an extra 10% off with code EXTRA10). Get thee to a Target soon if you haven't already, lots of clearance goodies still scattered throughout the store to be found!

Target's Next Designer Collab Is With Lilly Pulitzer and Includes Plus Sizes!

Lilly Pulitzer for Target

Target hosted a press event in NYC today where it was announced that their next designer collaboration would be with Lilly Pulitzer and would include (drum roll please) plus sizes! I was lame and didn't attend the event due to snow in the forecast and the fact that it's really, really cold out. Had I attended the party, I would have been whisked away to a warm, sunny vacationland where Lilly's bright, colorful prints bloomed on her signature shift dresses, as well as a wide array of other items for the home and beyond.

Lilly for Target launches April 19, just in time for all your spring needs, and will include 250 items. And yes, plus size! #Finally

Judging by the response on Instagram, I'd say you gals are super excited for this one. Me too! Mark your calendars, this one should draw a big crowd.

Dollar Bin Diaries: Valentine's Day Hits Target

Dollar Bins at Target always have the cutest stuff!

In case you're suffering from those post-holiday blues, cheer up, because Target (and many other retailers) have already made Christmas 2014 a distant memory and have moved on to Valentine's Day 2015! I couldn't help but smile when I spotted the pink, red and white goodies that filled the dollar aisle at my local Target. The chalkboard trend is still going strong on stickers, cupcake toothpick signs, pennant banners, chalkboard easels and more. Much like chevron, I'm a sucker for anything chalkboard #notoverityet. They've also got the cutest Valentine's Day cards for just $1 a piece, you can't go wrong. I picked up the card above - doesn't it look like Papyrus or Kate Spade?! Super chic. I also scored some pyramid shaped tacks to add some style to my corkboard (I'm convinced this single purchase will help me be more organized in the New Year! A girl can dream). Scroll down to see what other goodies I spotted in the dollar aisle - what's tempting you?

Also, diehard Target fans should follow me on Twitter and Instagram - we've been invited to a special press event tomorrow in NYC where Target will announce their next designer collab. We'll be the first to tell you who it is!
