Think You Can't Rock A Hat? These Three Looks Will Change Your Mind

I have always loved wearing hats, but I'm well aware that not everyone feels the same way (fear of hat hair or looking "silly" are among the many excuses, er, reasons I often hear from friends who are hat-averse). While a hat may seem like an unnecessary accessory - guess what? - summertime is the perfect time to bust out your hat collection! Not only will you look totally chic, you’ll also be making smart skin decisions. Trust me, your skin will thank you in the long run. And if you think it’s hard coming up with practical outfits to go with your hats, it’s not. It’s so easy! Read on for 3 cute and cheap ways to rock headwear this season:

Can You Guess Which Stylish Stroller Costs $1,700?

Can you spot the $1,300 stroller?
Stylish moms today require stylish baby gear, which is why brands like UppaBaby and Stokke have earned a loyal following in recent years. And other stroller manufacturers are taking note, shall we say. That's because high-end strollers such as the Stokke 'Trailz' costs $1,300 and the 'Crusi' costs $1,249, while the add-on Stokke 'Trailz & Crusi' Carry Cot (shown above) costs $400. Lately I've noticed quite a few look-a-likes being pushed around my town and even spotted a look-for-less featured in a popular baby magazine that sells for $169 in multiple colors, which I've included in the image above. Can you spot the real from the steal? Take a guess by clicking a link below!

Round 2: Here's What I Bought Online from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks
With only 4 days left to get new stuff on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I decided to buckle down and get serious and make some more fall purchases while I still had the chance. Earlier I shared what I bought in-store (here), and now here's a recap of what I bought online for all you fellow sale shopping voyeurs! Have you gone back for more? With free shipping, free returns, and my new Nordstrom card in hand, I found it hard to resist the following:

Off the Rack: Fall Boot Preview at Target, Surprize by Stride Rite, Stevies by Steve Madden and More (See 25+ In-Store Photos)

Pretty earrings at Target
My Tar-jay started stocking the shelves with new boots for fall amidst piles of disorganized sandals and other summer shoes, which, once so covetable, are now littering the aisles on clearance. The new ankle boots boast slight variations from last season that make them just different enough to make customers (like myself) shout (in my head) "OMG I need these!" Nevermind that I already own a dozen or so pairs of nearly identical styles. My favorites so far are the Merona Sawyer (shown above, $34.99) and Mossimo Sydney leopard sneakers ($29.99).

Not Surprisingly, There's Still Plenty of Eddie Borgo for Target to Choose From (See 20 In-Store Pics)

Eddie Borgo for Target in-store pics
It's been over two weeks since the Eddie Borgo for Target collection launched, yet my store still had plenty of pieces to choose from when I finally checked it out in person this past weekend. The NYC-based designer created a collection of customizable jewelry, bags and belts in a mix of metals and geometric shapes priced from $7.99-$49.99. I liked the galaxy inspired crossbody bag ($24.99) and gemstone pyramid charms ($7.99 each) but couldn't be bothered to put together an entire necklace or bracelet and price it out in my head. My advice would be to check out the pieces in person to determine the quality and get a sense of the scale, then order online at target.com/eddieborgo where Target has made creating one-of-a-kind pieces from this collection foolproof. And, as noted in big letters on the display case, items from this limited-edition designer collab must be returned within 14 days of purchase in-store or ship date should you order online.
