Experiment: Can You Find Fashion Week Worthy Accessories at T.J. Maxx?

All black streetstyle outfit at New York Fashion Week
Recently T.J. Maxx challenged me to find accessories for a New York Fashion Week outfit at my local T.J. Maxx store. The idea for the title of this post, however, came from a friend who asked, "Wait...can you really find a fashion week look at T.J.Maxx?" when I told her about my blogger mission. I hesitated. While it's true that you see all the most luxurious global brands on the guests at fashion week - Chanel, Celine, Givenchy, Dior - you also see that high-low mix. I won't name names, but I know Zara high-street when I see it. So I was confident that I could find some fashion-week accessories at T.J. Maxx.

Off the Rack: Fall Boot Highlights at T.J. Maxx This Month

Fall boots at T.J.Maxx - need these!
This weekend I stopped by T.J.Maxx to check out the latest fall boot offerings. You may not always find your size or the exact style you want, but I've concluded you will pay less for on-trend looks by top brands. And no I'm not a paid spokesperson (unfortunately! LOL) that's just my experience. So here I've snapped pics of the boots I liked the most, which I found in almost every aisle (every size, yay!). Brands like Franco Sarto and Donald J. Pliner are always a safe bet for comfort and durability, while Steve Madden and Madden Girl always offer up the latest trends (and hold up well, too) - like lace-up boots, ankle boots, Western-inspired ankle boots and classic riding boots. Franco Sarto is kind of the dark horse - not known for their "cool" factor but usually real leather and a high-end look. I'm going to keep stalking my store in the coming weeks, so check back for more photos. And don't miss my posts on the latest fall boots styles at Kohl's and Target, either, so you can compare and contrast before you shop! See any pairs you love?
