I used to check gilt.com almost daily to see what new designer goodies they had on sale, but as time has passed, I've moved away from shopping limited-time only sales sites because they've grown too big, offer fewer actual deals, and no longer have that feeling of exclusivity. Having said that, I happened to be browsing gilt.com earlier this week to see if they had any good deals on baby gear...when I spotted a Louis Vuitton Speedy hand painted with palm leaves, and was instantly reminded of a bag I had seen at anthropologie.com. (Great story, right?) Both have a strikingly similar palm leaf design with vastly different price tags. If you love the look of the LV, you'll have to check out the budget dupe!
