Off the Rack: Easter Decor at Walmart

Easter decor has arrived at Walmart.
After I checked out the spring fashions at Walmart, we swung by the Easter decor aisle which is already brimming with candies, baskets, and every bunny/carrot/egg themed item you could possibly imagine. I liked the old-timey decor items with a vintage, homemade feel the best, like a little twigs and raffia rabbit, or a door sign that said 'Happy Easter' in brown and orange burlap.

My kids gravitated towards the items in the brightest, most unnatural neon colors imaginable, but somehow I managed to convince them that organic fruit snacks were a better shopping reward than Trolls (the movie) plastic Easter eggs (because we all think of Trolls when we think of Easter...?). Score one for Mom! Check out my pics below to see if there's anything cute you'll be adding to your spring festivities - most items were priced between just $3 and $15.

Off the Rack: The Cutest Spring Fashions at Walmart

Cute stuff at Walmart
A few days ago I took a trip to Walmart (you may have caught some of the shopping fun on my Instagram Stories, hint hint!) to scope out what's new for spring. Admittedly my store didn't have a ton of new spring merch out yet, but I was able to hone in on a few fun new pieces that I snapped for you guys.

Topping the list are some very colorful boxy 'silk' tops in stripes and floral prints for $6.44 that are fun for work or the weekend. Style these a la J.Crew or Kate Spade for a fashion-forward look. I couldn't find them on walmart.com but if I see them, I'll share the link.

Also if you're looking for new pastel jeggings or layering tops in hues like mint, pale pink or blue, Walmart has you covered. Look for Faded Glory, my favorite brand - they make the best cotton tees under $5!

In the accessories department, I spotted some fun tassel totes, lightweight boho scarves, and reversible faux leather totes - these are a great deal, easily look twice the price. Durable and great for work or the weekend.

Off the Rack: Modern by Dwell Magazine, New Artist Series and More Home Decor Highlights at Target

Threshold's winter collection is on sale at Target now.
If you caught my Instagram Stories on Monday, you probably saw my exhaustive trip through the aisles of Target as I documented everything I was loving (which was basically the entire store). What can I say, the kids were being especially well behaved, so this Mama got to browse to her heart's content.

Here are some highlights to check out on your next Target trip (may it be blessed with quiet children or even better, may your only companion be a Starbucks latte): The Inspirational New Year's Collection by Threshold (reminds me of ban.do and reminds Target-Addict of Kate Spade); the new Sugar Paper (see the lookbook here); new art by Leah Duncan, Kelly Ventura, Heidi Schweigert and Claudia Pearson; and of course new on-sale offerings from Threshold (my boys wanted me to buy this Oryx Head Wall Decor, but all I bought was this practical yet stylish tassel hand towel).

I also spotted an end cap with some items from the new Modern by Dwell Magazine collection. Nothing really caught my eye but if you love CB2 or Design Within Reach, you'll love this line.

Scroll down to see a few more real life photos, and let me know what you're loving in the comments!
