Off the Rack: Mid-Winter Shoes at Target

During a recent trip to Target, I strolled down the near-barren shoe aisles to see what, if anything, was new and noteworthy. Most of the boots and slippers had been cleared out and there wasn't much new stock to speak of, but I did spot a few cute pairs that could brighten your day, including leopard print kitten heels, studded flats and a sexy (although very uncomfortable-looking) pair of nude platforms. I didn't buy anything this time but I'm sure I'll be back before Valentine's Day when I always find myself craving the most impractical, precipitously tall heels I can find. On a budget, of course.

I think the pair of nude heels are really cute, and I find myself purchasing a pair of these. Thanks TBB.

I saw all the pretty shoes at Target the other day and loved them! Especially the leopard-print ones. :-)

from what i can tell from the pictures, the studded flats look like copies of pour la victoire ones!

Have you started seeing low heels come through at Target, BB? They are trending BIG for 2010. Yabadabadoooo!

The trend returns for the nude pumps. Nine West did them in a patent leather very pale pink almost three years ago!

I just went to Target yesterday and they didn't have any new shoes in yet. I wear nude pumps to work every day in the summer, they can seriously be worn with every single thing in your closet. I can't wait to try those on!
