First Look: Zac Posen for Target Lookbook

Fashionista has released the upcoming Zac Posen for Target Lookbook, a collection which incorporates Posen's signature chiffon and prints—and lots of dresses. Highlights for me include a floor-length gown ($69), a slim black suit ($90) and pink tiger-print dress ($40). Um, I kind of love it. It strikes me as sexy and young but definitely adaptable for many women and tastes. Alas, we'll never really know until the collection launches on April 25th.

Keep reading to see the complete collection, and let me know what you think in the comments!

really digging the black suit (corporate girl locked inside of me - not really locked inside, I let her run loose most days) and the brocade dress cuz b/c I love brocade. the red looks like a sad attempt at Betsy...but like you said, we will have to wait and see.

Yes please snap tape dress! Or anything in black-gold!

The rest? Mleh.

I'm not really feeling anything based on this! I'll definitely look it over in person. The only thing I was attracted to was the black sweater dress but, based on the way the model is standing, the material looks sheer! No good.

That floral dress with pockets could be super cute, but I don't know about the rest of it. Some of those patterns look like they could turn out looking really cheap on if they're done in the typical cheap Target fabrics!

Loving the floral skirt and sweater dress. I may have to take a look when they come to stores.

The suit is beautiful. I also like the full length dress and one of the tees.

But the rest of it? Made for size 0 girls and for eBay scalpers. Bah.

I really like the safety pin print gown and the yellow raincoat, but aside from that the collection seems a little too much like a high schooler from the early nineties.

I'm getting tired of all of these 'designer' collections for Target. Most of the time, their regular clothing lines have much more style and taste, rather than these cheap looking, poorly made pieces. Where's te designer in these clothes? They all look sloppy and dull. And I'd never spend $40+ on one clothing item at Target. I'd rather spend my cash at H&M or Zara, two places I know that the clothing's quality will justify its price tag.

I sooo love the black suit, the polka dot dress and the tiger print dress, just thinking about how I'm going to lengthen them since I don't wear above the knee dresses. But I definitely want 'em!
