Christian Siriano for Payless Spring 2010 Collection

Christian Siriano for Payless Spring 2010 Collection

The Christian Siriano for Payless Spring 2010 Collection is now available at payless.com, and includes satin platform pumps, ruffle flats, laceless sneaks, cutout booties and one patent handbag, ranging in price from $29.99 to $39.99.

Much like the fall 2010 collection, all the spring styles have been significantly toned down from the looks that were shown on the runways, leaving many fans of Siriano's fierce footwear feeling let down. I don't mind toned down versions for everyday wear but I have felt underwhelmed whenever I see these shoes in person.

The ones for Payless look a lot more comfortable to me! I don't know...the runway shapes seem a bit odd.

I bought a pair during his first installment (the brown faux snake square-toe platform)and I love them. I was a bit miffed with the 2nd round. I am warming up to the 3rd. I like the coast pattern in red and love the cutout booties (which are similar to the last version he did - just not as high).

The purses looked extremely cheap and cheaply made. So maybe this one will be a bit better constructed.

did he recycle some from the holiday collection? i have a similar pair to the downtown ones and the last pair i also snagged during that 50% off promo

They look cute, but they are definitely not fierce. The runway shoes look fantastic. I would have loved to attempt to walk in them. I'm so disappointed in all of his Payless work so far. I had such high hopes after Project Runway!

I love the blue coast pattern and the downtown zip sandal. Not sure about the rest of them though. I do agree that they are not really "fierce" though. Just because some of us shop at payless for shoes that doesn't mean that we can't look fierce too!

Come on, those runway shoes look like they came from Lady Gaga's tour wardrobe...the rest of us have to live in the real world, including the majority of people who shop at Payless. I kinda like these.

The Payless collection is...boring. I do dig the pumps and peep-toe flats but I too am underwhelmed. I would most definitely rock the runway looks though!

They said some of the runway looks will be made for Payless as well. Cost around $79.99.

wow, I really don't like the runway looks with that crazy shape of the heel.

I actually like the peep-toe flats. I can see why he decided to go with the runway "inspired" route and not the actual thing. These are very marketable shoes. Unless you seriously love shoes, I doubt most of the Payless clientele would feel comfortable wearing his runway look.

The tone down shoes make me want to vomit they are that bad!!!

I need to know WHEN the runway versions come out in Payless... Does ANYBODY know? I have been looking forward to the runway versions since Fall 09... I NEED THOSE SHOES! THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNIQUE. Hate if you want, but Fierce shoes are FIERCE shoes... Period. Give credit where it's due... P.s. I HATE that Payless dumbed his designs down... If they don't put out the runway versions, Payless can expect to lose money this spring.

The runway versions will be available in mid-March for $79.99 each.

Does March mean the Alexandra shoes will then be available from the Christian Siriano collection?
