an informed consumer is a smart shopper. without getting too wrapped up or obsessed with fashion, it's good to have resources that tell you what's on sale and where, etc. your trip to kohl's to check out the vera wang collection is a good example. then when you mentioned the 30% off sale (this week it's only 20%) it was even more informative.
you're doing a lot of work to make life simpler for those who don't have a lot of time to shop. this is a good thing. i don't think people spend more or less as a result of the fashion blogs.
Yes, the Budget Babe's shopping advice is very helpful. She got me to go into Kohl's for the Vera Wang things as well, and today I went to my mall and the shops where I usually go seemed so overpriced for what you got that I went back to Kohl's and for $68 got a sweater, a top and a skirt, regular price $104. Well done BB!
