Fashion Week Nail Trend Report from Dashing Diva: Manicures at Brian Reyes, Nary Manivong & Trias

Dashing Diva's head nail tech Pattie Yankee and her team kept busy with manicures at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with some Fall nail trends from the Brian Reyes, Nary Manivong and Trias shows. I didn't get the backstage hook-up this time around, but my friends at DarkPR filled me in on the details. I can get behind the pale nails at Brian Reyes, and of course, loved the mushroom hue at Trias (more on that show to come). Any Dashing Diva fans out there? They are a HUGE force at Fashion Week, so I learned.

Designer Brian Reyes chose a sheer nude/pink shade for nails to compliment the Fall collection.

Stylist Ally Hilfiger and designer Nary Manivong collaborated with Pattie Yankee to create an ultra sleek and modern oval press-on nail painted in a shiny, nude metallic called No More Alimony from Dashing Diva's Fall 2010 collection.

The designer wanted a subtle grey/brown shade for the nails to go with the natural earthy theme of the Trias show. So, Pattie Yankee mixed the grey Astor Place with the taupe West Village to create a hot mushroom Shitake shade.

i love the grey! anyone know of any similar shades that i could get at like a local target? lol.

I'm sure Essie has some colors! I love their line- but, if you're more of a big brush person, Rimmel's lasting finish pro has a big brush stays on and is cheap! But, Essie, & OPI definately will have colors! Sally Hansons new all in 1 nail polish with the base coat and top coat in it has a good line of colors:)

I agree with Michele...I love The Grey..going to be looking for it, hopefully Chine Glaze will come out with that color!

I love both the grey and the gold. Although I don't think I'd wear gold on really long nails, it's a little too much.

i love the gold.. its my current go to fun color right now. But i also love that Brian Reyes did a nude color. its great for any outfit.

a good gray/taupe color is Sally Hansen's complete salon manicure in the color commander in chic. Got it at my local Target!

i was so happy with the complete salon manicure line that i went back for another one, got "pat on the black" a dark red-wine black, it's pretty amazing. post to come

That taupe color is very interesting. I wouldn't normally consider it for myself, but it looks very cool on the model.

Oh that is pure love. I am completely in love with all those colours! ESP the Mushroom Shitake shade! ITS AMAZING. I'm on the hunt for the perfect gray right now. Essie makes a fab. taupe that I have similar to the mushroom shade.

I love the grey, but I think the nude worked so well with Brian Reyes whole collection from the clothes to the make up. Very sophisticated!
