The Look for Less: Christian Louboutin Petal Heels

These ethereal Christian Louboutin Petal Heels originally sold for $995 at NeimanMarcus.com, but are currently sold out.

Ann Taylor at ShopStyle

Ann Taylor's Camille Bloom Sandals, available in pink or black, are probably the best looks for less I've seen, although they will still cost you $158.

Feeling crafty? A couple bloggers have created their own DIY versions of the Christian Louboutin Petal heels, check out this fab DIY on Style Obsession, and here's an amazing step by step tutorial from …love Maegan. Budget babe-alicious.

These shoes remind me of the ones that Carrie wears in Sex and the CIty in the season 4 finale when Miranda has the baby.

Hey, the DIY stuff is great. Why pay so much for a pair of shoes anyway? Making your own stuff seems to be more and more the way to go: we're all skint at the moment. I have been making my own hair accessories too. Kinda gone fanatical for making hairclips with feathers and my own brooches too. Seems like you either have to have a big walle tif you want to assert your individuality or simply be creative and handy with a glue gun.

Thanks for linking to my blog! I just checked my Analytics for today and couldn't figure out why that particular post was ranking so high all of a sudden!

I actually think Ann Taylor's shoes are cuter than the original ;P

the loubutins are gorgeous, but definitely out of my range, so thanks for the DIY, I'll try to make my own, and the best thing is ... no color limitation :-)
