Alexander McQueen Spring 2008

We don't have anything profound to say except this: McQueen's Spring 2008 collection was freaking amazing. It was more like Alexander McDream. See for yourself >>

Alexander McQueen Spring 2008

We found McQueen's diaphanous bird-of-paradise gowns to be reminiscent of The Annunciation, a painting by Jan van Eyck c. 1434/1436. Why? Good question, but it's something about those rainbow-colored wings...

Check out the collection and let us know what you think!

Fabulous!!! Those items really are fun and fantastic! I like the feathers, and the outfit in the middle is just great! :-)

I love love love Alexander McQueen! This is a gorgeous collection. And you're right about the similarity to The Annunciation painting -- never would've thought about it myself! :-)
