Street style examples of how to wear ankle cuff sandals
At first glance, flat ankle-cuff sandals would appear to visually chop legs off. But I've seen stylish girls wearing these all over the streets of New York City and the look is really starting to grow on me! The trick is to pair them with short-shorts or minis, so legs still look long while the edginess of the sandal keeps things stylish rather than vampish. Alternatively, you can wear ankle cuff sandals with cuffed boyfriend jeans or cargos, but I find this works best when the cuff of the shoe is tight around the ankle, almost like a thick strap. P.S. BB,
Although I enjoy "Celebrity Style" posts, it would be nice to see "What people are wearing on the streets" posts... like this one!!! Liked very much.
My pair are a tan color very similar to the color of my skin. Maybe this lessens the "shortening" effect...
I bought a beautiful pair, much like the first girls, at Marshalls two weeks ago! They are my dollhouse, they are black pleather with the side strings, and most importantly- were only $19.99! I love them and I stand at an awesome 5' 2".
