Beauty Review: NEW Caress Whipped Souffle Ultra Silkening Body Wash

Recently I received a free sample of NEW Caress Whipped Soufflé Ultra Silkening Body Wash in Blackberry Cream and also White Peach Cream ($4.49, 15 oz). These new body washes boast "Silky Fragrance Infusion" which combines fragrance and moisturization for silky skin in one body wash. Did Caress deliver on its promise? Keep reading to find out...

Yes! Caress Whipped Soufflé body wash is surprisingly moisturizing and pleasantly fragrant. It kinda reminds me of Yoplait yogurt in both appearance, consistency and scent LOL but in a good way. It's not overly fruity or sweet, and it's certainly not sticky. Rather it's creamy goodness for your skin so smooth that it feels, dare I say, sensual. Ooh la la you'll find yourself saying as you lather up. A special shower moment like this could be interrupted by a slippery tub but thankfully, the Caress didn't turn my tub into a greasy death trap like some super moisturizing bathwashes I've tried in the past. It left my skin feeling hydrated but not greasy. You could probably use a lotion afterwards but I found that I didn't need to.

I'd certainly recommend this product to a friend but I'm not sure I'll buy it again because, um, the bottle doesn't match my bathroom decor. But don't let that stop you from enjoying this showertime treat that's almost good enough to eat.

I'm always afraid of purchasing "pricey" body wash. I always go for the generic or dollar-store brand because I never care to have a nice scent in the shower (post-shower, the scents never, ever linger). But, what is 5 bucks? Maybe I'll keep this one in mind.

What can I say!? I'm obsessed with having everything in shades of green (or white) in my bathroom right now hehe
