Temple St. Clair for Target: What Say You?

Temple St. Clair for Target: What Say You?

I made the trek to Target #2 this morning in hopes of finding their newly launched Temple St. Clair jewelry collection and this time, I was successful. Well, somewhat successful…I actually had to ask a sales clerk at the jewelry counter if they had the collection, at which point she was kind enough to pull out the box for me containing all the jewelry for me to browse under her watchful gaze. Hence, no photos, save for the heart stone ring which I purchased for $30. Everything looked absolutely lovely in person—rings, necklaces and earrings ranging from $29.99 to $49.99—but I still have a hard time justifying spending $50 on anything let alone a necklace from Tar-jay. Nonetheless I'm really pleased with my purchase and I just hope it stays looking this shiny and pretty for a while.

Have you seen the collection in person? What did you buy?

I bought the same heart ring the day before the collection officially launched, but it only fit on my pinky finger and I ultimately decided that as pretty as it was, I didn't need a $30 pinky ring, so I returned it. I hope someone else is enjoying it thoroughly, though!

I'm hoping I get a chance to go to Target this weekend and they have it. As cute as the pieces are, I don't think I'll be buying anything until it goes on sale!

I bought the heart-shaped ring too. I think this line is great and will be buying more pieces.

If you think $50 is a lot for Target, I saw the original Temple St. Clair line and those baubles cost like $12,000.

I saw some items in store - and loved what I saw - but I ultimately bought 3 items online vs. getting it in store. FYI, there are some of the Temple pieces that are ONLY available online, and won't be in stores. And, when you buy online, you ensure you'll get the jewelry in whatever "special packaging" (jewelry bag or box) that Temple St. Clair has for the item. It's been my experience that if you buy in store, they don't always have the packaging on hand. I know this sounds picky, but if you want to be able to store your jewelry in its original packaging (as I do!) it's important. And, when you order more than $50 worth of products on Target.com, the shipping is free.
