What I'm Wearing: Wanted Shoes 'Ballard' Riding Boots

My new favorite boots came to me a couple weeks ago courtesy of Wanted Shoes, who let me choose one pair of my choice from their website wantedshoes.com. While I was pretty familiar with the brand's offerings, I had never actually owned a pair myself. As a budget fashion blogger, Wanted Shoes always stands out to me for carrying the latest shoe trends at really reasonable prices (most are under $100).

Since Wanted's offerings are not leather, I was skeptical about the look and quality but I'm really impressed with my pair of Ballard riding boots - I've been wearing them constantly with both skinny and straight leg jeans and cargos, they've endured dog walks and holiday shopping marathons, not to mention frigid temperatures (can you tell I'm shivering in the photo above?), and I have nothing but good things to say! I've received many compliments on these boots, too, I think the lace-up detail on the back adds a little attitude and interest. And don't worry, the lacing is purely ornamental. There's a side zipper to help you get these on and off with ease.

In terms of specifics, I usually wear a 9.5 but Wanted doesn't seem to sell said half size, so I went with a 9 and thankfully they fit like a charm! My Wanted boots are ridiculously comfortable and easy to get on and off (as I mentioned). I'm not sure if my feet would sweat in these because it's been so cold, that hasn't been a problem. Calf circumference is listed on the Wanted Shoes website but I am a 14 1/2" including pants and my boots fit just right.

My Ballard boots are available in black, brown, gray or tan for $79.99 at wantedshoes.com. You can also find them at endless.com for the same price by clicking the image below. I won't hesitate to buy another pair of Wanted Shoes in the future knowing they're such a great value for the price. The key is being selective as some styles look cheaper than others because of the materials used.

I don't really care for the boots, but I do like your F21 cardi and Target belt. Thanks for letting S Stauffer know where they're from. Next time I'm in Target I'll give the belts a look over.

These look way more expensive than $79.99. They also look very solid (in my experience, it's hard to find a faux leather that is convincing). Love the lace up detail on the back and the outfit you styled around these boots!

The boots look fantastic - you have a great eye to pick these out from all the other styles. They look expensive with the lace up back detail.

Love the boots! I'm so glad you're doing "What I'm Wearing" posts-- I think it's so helpful to see what real women with style wear everyday. Thanks for sharing!

These look great! I love how they look on even more than in the picture on the website. The lacing up the back is the perfect touch!

I always like when you take pictures, you look so cute. I love the boots diva! I'm feeling all those extra details with the buckles and the lace-up part in the back. They have a rugged but chic quality to them. Awesome!
