H&M Plans to Launch US Ecommerce at the End of 2011

Watch out Forever 21, H&M just announced this week that it will debut ecommerce in the US at the end of 2011! This comes on the heels of other exciting news from the fast-fashion giant, namely, H&M is teaming up with Swedish Hasbeens for a collection of cheap-chic wooden soled summer shoes. And if that's not enough for you, perhaps you'll be elated to discover that H&M is creating a plus-size line for spring. Hoorays all around!

Finally! I often feel like I miss out on certain items at H&M since some items/collections are only offered at their bigger stores. Now if only Zara would allow for e-commerce transactions, I'd be an even happier camper! In regard to H&M's plus-sized line, it's a shame that it will only be available online to those in Europe.

Double yes! Finally the teasing of Hm comes to a stop! And I just love how they are doing plus size clothes for us chunky but cute girls, I just hope that its not a disappointment like other lines are.

This is longgg overdue. Definitely should have happened 3 years ago. I'm still waiting for an H&M in my City. Their US store expansions are slow and ill conceived.
